My Life Before Seminary
I entered Seminary straight out of high school. My plan was to become a Veterinarian and so I was taking animal science and some medical classes in high school. I was also running track and field in order to obtain scholarships.
What Convinced Me to Enter Seminary
I had a tremendous desire to learn more about the Catholic faith and share that with others. A big inspiration for me was Ven. Fulton Sheen. He was an intelligent man who was able to explain the faith in a simple way and in a way that was engaging. That was his whole life. Priesthood seemed to be the path to go if this desire of mine was to be fulfilled.
Other Interests
History is another interest of mine. Whether that be world history, church history or US history.
